"Another world is not only possible, she is on the way. On a quiet day I can hear her breathing"
— Arundhati Roy
This workshop, which is open to both men and women, is about listening to that “breathing”. And to learn to “breathe” with “her”.
Attendance at the talk the night before is prerequisite, as it provides the intellectual basis for this essentially experiential day.
Those who have attended my workshops before will remember their participation and contribution to the group. This Feminine Divine workshop is even more dependent upon the individuals who come together. It is an opportunity to immerse ourselves in ways of thinking and being that challenge commonly held notions of spirituality and divinity.
Through various exercises and discussions of the work of Jung and others, I will guide the group to court the feminine divine as an immediate, accessible experience, as the numinous. The work is centred around four different meditations, and we focus on wonder and non-rational faculties. This experience has the potential to inform and radically change us.
